Frequently asked questions by our members
No. Please contact the consultant(s) or hospital(s) listed in your original authorisation letter. They will guide you in arranging your appointments. We're unable to defer appointments due to personal commitments and you must be available for any appointment offered.
If you have a delayed appointment and you haven't heard from the hospital or provider that you're due to visit, you should contact that provider using the details provided with your original authorisation letter.
We’re open from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
The easiest way is to log into My Benenden. When you log in, you’ll see your membership number on the right-hand side within the blue box.
Your membership number is also shown on your welcome pack and on any correspondence we may have sent you.

Assistance can come in a wide range of forms depending on the needs of the individual. Our maximum grant for treatment and equipment is up to £3,000 and financial requests are up to £1,000.
