Carrot Cake Smoothie Recipe
This delicious and healthy treat combines the flavors of carrot cake with nutritious ingredients. Carrots provide beta-carotene for eye health, while frozen banana and orange add natural sweetness and vitamin C. This smoothie is the perfect delicious and indulgent treat for Spring.
Shopping list for one:
1 tbsp coconut flakes.
1 tbsp walnuts.
1 small carrot, grated.
1 frozen orange.
1 frozen banana.
1 tsp raw honey.
100ml low fat milk.
1 tbsp low fat cottage cheese.
120ml coconut water.
1 tsp hemp seeds.
1 tsp vanilla extract.
1 tsp ground cinnamon.
Method:
Remove frozen banana and orange from the freezer.
Wash, peel and grate the carrot.
Chop walnuts.
Put all ingredients in a blender and mix well.
Serve cold over ice.
